Twitter Campaigns
PlacePunch includes built in Twitter automation that enables you to automatically send messages to customers when they check into your venues with Foursquare.
Twitter messages can be used to invite customers to join your rewards program, thank customers for visiting your venues, or even send promotions and coupons.
Twitter messages are sent based on the number of times a person has checked into one of your venues. For instance: If customer has checked in 2 times, send them this tweet. If this is a customer's 5th check-in, send them a different Tweet.
How to setup Twitter Messages:
1) Click on "Campaigns" in the left navigation bar.
2) For the Group that this Loyalty Campaign is valid, select "Manage"

3) Under "Twitter Campaign Program," select "Add Twitter Campaign."

4) Enter how many times a customer must check-in to receive different Twitter messages. For instance, if you want to send a customer a messages on their 5th check-in, select "5."

5) Add your Twitter messages. You will need to add Twitter
messages to be sent for each milestone.

If you add multiple Twitter messages per check-in milestone, PlacePunch will randomly select one of the messages to send at this check-ins. We recommend adding multiple messages. Having multiple messages to send per check-in makes your Twitter account seem less "robot-like."
Note: All tweets begin with @username. Example: "@adams72 - thanks for visiting us tonight. Earn free rewards for signing up with our rewards program at bit.ly/example."
6) Add additional milestones by clicking the "Add Milestone" button.
For instance, if you wanted to message guests on their 1st, 3rd and 8th check-ins, you would the following Milestones:
Milestone 1: 1 check-ins
Milestone 2: 2 check-ins
Milestone 3: 5 check-ins

7) Click "Finish" to save your Twitter Campaign.
